APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN
The Getting Ready to Learn application process for 2023-24 is now open to all DE funded pre-schools, including pre-school playgroups, nursery schools and units (including special schools) and reception classes.
It is a two-stage application process:
Stage 1: Complete a short online Stage 1 application.

This is a simple Microsoft Forms application, however, if you would prefer to complete a paper version, please email grtl@eani.org.uk and we will send you a printable version.

Have you ever watched a child receive a beautiful shop bought toy which they eagerly open, look at and explore and then proceed to play with the cardboard box or wrapping that it came in? It is not always necessary to purchase shop bought toys – often homemade/found resources will hold endless fascination and fun.
‘Play Matters’ is a project funded by the Early Intervention Transformation Programme (EITP). It aims to ensure that policy makers, practitioners and parents understand that play is a vital part of childhood and is necessary for every child’s healthy development. It will also aim to support. Promote, influence and facilitate play, providing sustainable and long lasting beliefs.
